Jimmy Kimmel Live! is a talk show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Taylor appeared on the show twice.

2014[]

On October 23, 2014, Taylor was interviewed about her new album 1989, her lyrics and working with Jack Antonoff. She also told the story of showing up to the show's studio when she was 14 years old, asking the music booker if she could play a song for him and getting kicked out instead. She then performed her 1989 songs Shake It Off and Out of the Woods.

Later that year, Taylor appeared in a segment that featured Guillermo interviewing celebrities at the 2014 American Music Awards. She and Karlie Kloss were interviewed back-to-back and played harmonica and recorder.

2020[]

On December 16, 2020, Taylor appeared on the show after the release of her ninth studio album evermore. She wasn't present in the studio; they video called because of the corona pandemic. She was interviewed about the album, her birthday and her concert film. She also debunked the fan theory that there'd be a new album called 'woodvale', revealing that it was the fake name for folklore to prevent the album name from getting leaked. Taylor was asked about Joe's pseudonym, revealing that he came up with the pseudonym himself.

After the interview, a TikTok was made that showed Taylor talking with her hands, and at one point it seemed like she was making a hand sign that people also use to warn people they're experiencing domestic abuse. The TikTok was spread around, making many people believe Taylor was asking for help. Taylor's publicist Tree Paine revealed on Twitter that Taylor was fine.
