That same year on November 11, 2008, after Taylor became even more successful with the release of her album Fearless. She talked about her album, her break-up with Joe Jonas (infamously mentioned the 27-second phone call), finding the person whose right and being a role model. They showed a clip of two-year-old Taylor singing. Ellen then surprised Taylor with her best friend Abigail. Ellen then also surprised Taylor with Justin Timberlake, who was her celebrity crush at the time. Justin sat on the couch with her and Abigail.
Taylor then performed Love Story and Should've Said No.
After the show, Ellen booked a dinner for Taylor and Abigail at a fancy place where she met Stevie Wonder.
2009[]
In October 29, 2009, Taylor was interviewed during the time she was on the Fearless Tour. Ellen and Taylor joked about how Ellen is responsible for her success and Taylor gave Ellen her five-time platinum plaque. She talked about meeting Stevie Wonder at the restaurant Ellen booked for her. She told Ellen that Obama had just been elected and quoted the impressing speech Stevie gave because of it. Taylor then talked about filming the movie Valentine's Day. Ellen then showed a picture of Taylor and her co-star Taylor Lautner kissing on set. Taylor mentioned it was part of the movie, but Ellen then showed more pictures of Taylor and Taylor L. outside of set, flustering Taylor. They then talked about how confusing it was for the two of them having the same name, revealing that Taylor proposed to the movie crew to call her Swiftie. Ellen and Taylor then started to jokingly write a song together, with Taylor playing on the guitar.
In the studio's bathroom, before the show, Taylor was scared by Ellen in the bathroom. The clip went viral.
2010[]
Taylor returned to the show in November 1, 2010. They talked about Taylor's new album Speak Now and Taylor writing is by herself. Ellen asked about songs that are about ex-boyfriends, specifically Dear John. Taylor said that it could be about him and wants to be consistent with writing songs about her life. She asked if Taylor is optimistic about love right now, asking about Jake Gyllenhaal. They ended up talking about Ellen scaring Taylor the last time she was on the show, and Ellen scared her again. They also talked about Taylor's relationship with her mom. After the interview, Taylor surprised a fan who played Love Story when walking down the isle at her wedding.
May 2011[]
On May 10, 2011, Taylor was interviewed by Ellen about living a public life. Taylor mentioned that she accepted it as being part of her job. She also surprised a fan who won the contest of being the biggest Taylor Swift fan and gave her VIP tickets to the Speak Now Tour.
September-October 2011[]
On September 13, 2011, Taylor took part of a segment where Ellen asked her strange and awkward questions.
On October 19, Taylor had a real interview on the show. They talked about Taylor inviting Ellen on stage during a performance and Ellen jokingly confronted Taylor about not calling her for another show. Taylor then talked about touring and selling out stadiums during the Speak Now Tour. They talked about an incident where Taylor's dress blew up because the wind machines were on. Ellen then gifted Taylor underwear. They talked about Taylor's Wonderstruck perfume and Ellen asked her if she had a boyfriend, which Taylor denied and said she's not even talking to a guy. She said she doesn't want to be the girl who always has boyfriends, but only have real, serious relationships. They whole audience then received the Wonderstruck perfume.
February 2012[]
On February 20, 2012, Taylor has a joint interview with Zac Efron to promote their movie The Lorax, in which they voiced a character. They talked about Taylor learning Zac to play guitar and demonstrating it. They sung a parody of Pumped Up Kicks, making the lyrics about Ellen. It became one of the most watched Ellen fragments.
